I've just been watching the Community Channel show on Peter Tatchell that was on over Christmas, and Ian McKellen has directly compared Peter Tatchell to Magneto!
He does go on to talk about how Mags is proud to be a mutant, but doesn't mention about how that's overshadowed by him being madder than a bag of fanboys and willing to use extreme violence to take over the world, which is where the analogy collapses somewhat.
And is there anyone available to comment on how good Peter looks in purple?
