So, what exactly has Chris Langham been found guilty of again? It's a thought-crime isn't it?

Newsnight should have got some sort of award for their coverage, getting someone who'd been sexually abused as a child, winding them up and then letting them go...

He's been found guilty of paying for, downloading and distributing child pornography. How is that a thought crime?

Now see, I didn't know about the 'paying for' and 'distributing' bits. I've not seen that mentioned, though I suppose people don't give away child porn for free.

Outside the court Detective Inspector Derek Cuff, of Kent police, said: "Viewing such images simply perpetuates child abuse."

The paying for was via his credit card and the distributing was via a file sharing network. While there is a demand for such pornography (either by paying for it or sharing it privately) then children are going to be abused to produce it.
