I don't know whether Blogger's new look is trying to placate stupid people that found the old design too difficult but it's really irritating me. Not least is the fact that I have to switch screens if I want to create a hotlink, because doing it in the compose screen, or using the 'insert a link' button, doesn't work. Were there loads of stupid people emailing blogger saying "i cAN'T PUt a lINK In, you're sySTem suxxx, i'M GOIng to TYPepadddd!"? Is Blogger aiming to appeal to people who think the Gumbys from Monty Python are masterminds? What's the point of keeping the preview button if you're going to create some half-assed design which shows your style changes instantly but doesn't recognise it when you try to code it directly? Gaaaaah!
