Say the name! SAY THE NAME!

One of our library patrons calls me 'Mark'. I don't know why. Unfortunately, the first few times he did it I thought he was saying 'mate', so by the time I realised he wasn't we were already in that awkward phase where to correct him would mean I'd been letting him call me the wrong name for too long.

But now, I quite like being a different name to my birthname, or my preferred version of it.

Do I look like a 'Mark' to you?
