At least with the planned tube works this weekend I can maintain the fiction that I would go to Pride if getting home afterwards wasn't so shagging difficult.

I suppose an argument could be made that if you take this view then every weekend is impossible but dude, shutting a major line like the Victoria on Pride weekend? Seeing as tube repairs are supposed to be something like 300 years behind schedule, surely another weekend wouldn't have hurt?
