Had an interesting conversation with Julie about the use of Livejournals to post fiction. So I'm giving it a go (Julie, using an lj-cut to limit the size of the initial post so those who wisely don't want to be inflicted by this old load of goth bollocks can dodge round it, and I'm limiting comments to people with lj-IDs, you'll probably want to check out Warren Ellis' fiction lj, his name is mistersleepless).
