Brain Cant must have been working later in children's telly than Toni Arthur. I also don't remember seeing Jeremy Irons doing Playschool except years later in 'Their First Job'-type shows. That said, googling to see what she looks like Ms. Arthur does look vaguely familiar, so possibly I did see her on telly when I was very young, but I was born in 1976 and I can't tell when she stopped doing Playschool.
Now you've said it I remember Angus Deayton talking about RA in the tribute show he did after Geoffrey Perkin's untimely death. I wonder if Auntie has put it out on CDs and whether the library has copies. Will check.
