I realise I'm being ridiculously naive but has anyone ever signed a petition on the Number 10 website and then received an email that wasn't a ridiculous brush-off response that just restates the Government position while ignoring the main thrust of the petition? What I don't understand is why they only send these out to those that sign some of the petitions, as they are going to ignore all the petitions anyway, what makes some of them so special that they are going to send out emails to them when none of them are encouraging a change in policy anyway?
