Jan. 28th, 2007 02:04 pmAs we know, for every clever thing that happens in the world, something dumb happens elsewhere to restore balance. However, it also true with GOOD and BAD. Hence;
BAD. My email is still the poo. It seems that it takes but instants for other people's email to reach me, something on the order of 46 hours for my email to reach them, or sometimes not at all. Unfortunately Orange are trying to pretend there is not a problem.
GOOD. Robyn's cover of Jack U Off is hilarious.
BAD. The Independent reports that the British Library is short of cash, will have to start charging, stop all exhibitions and close the Newspaper Library completely. There's nothing up at the British Library website about this yet but if it's accurate and not the sIndy scaremongering on behalf of the BL then this would be disasterous. While I don't use the BL myself, I've referred countless readers over the years.
GOOD. Die Donnergotter by Rhys Chatham. It sounds fantastic as I want to have Mr Chatham's children. I realise there may be biological difficulties but I'm still willing to give it a go and I have a cardboard box on standby.
And thus the balance is restored.
