Taken from [livejournal.com profile] princesswitch, the cuddly American Family Association are doing a petition about MTV starting a TV station 'to push the homosexual agenda'. And it does seem that you can fill it in if you don't live in the States. There doesn't seem to be any way to see what the current votes are, but why not drop by and remind them that to hate ain't that Christian?

I think the reason they won't let anyone see the current results anymore is so that this time, no one will be able to catch them when they start randomly subtracting thousands of votes from our side.

Yeah, probably. Over here we had a horribly homophobic Baroness from the House of Lords set up a website so that the public could vote on whether the gay age of consent should be lowered from 18 to 16 (the lords had blocked this for years). The question was extremely loaded and written in such a way that, if you supported equalisation and didn't read the question too closely you'd unwittingly vote against it. We still won though, and she slunk off in shame. It wouldn't surprise me if other bigots learned from her mistake.

Well, the AFA is just learning for their own mistake, from the last time they had a poll when we won it and they started covertly subtracting votes from our side and we caught them doing it.
