Is it possible for a woman to act as a transvestite in modern society as opposed to just a woman in trousers, without going all the way into drag king performative territory?
I have this slight idea that all women are transvestites in modern society. Even a woman in a dress is in drag --i.e., is a woman dressed as a man dressed as a woman.
Wearing a tie. There are no girl ties and I don't think it's ever really been popular enough as girl-wear to normalise it. That's what I tell myself, anyway (adjusts shiny tie).
